Three Summer Holidays
courses in Animation this Summer
-Traditional animation workshop (4 days)
In this four days animation workshop students will get a chance to make
a short animated film using paper and plasticine, building sets,
filming with a computer and camera, and recording voiceovers to create
characters and bring them to life. After the workshop the participants
will receive a DVD of their work.
Where: The Film and Video Workshop media studio located in the playground of Hungerford Primary school N7 9LF
Times : 10am – 4pm.
Age: children from 10 to 13 years old
Date: 02-Aug-2010 – 05-Aug-2010 (Monday to Thursday)
There are just 14 places for the Animation workshop.
This project is part of the Islington Summer University Programme. Participants must live in Islington or attend an Islington
School.

-Flash animation Introduction (4 days)
This is a
great opportunity for all budding animators who want to learn the
basics of Flash animation. You will learn how to use the tool box,
understand the basics of animation in Flash by using frame by frame
animation, shape tweening and motion tweening; you will get an overview
of some basic action script and how to add sound. At the end, you will
get a copy of your work on CD–Roms.
