DVD sales
Please check you are happy with the dvd before you break the seal as we are unable to accept it back once the seal has been broken.
Schools using the booking form will be sent the required DVD/s and invoiced once a form has been submitted. By submitting the form you are entering into an agreement to make the purchase. (However this can be cancelled at anytime before we ship the DVD or you can return the DVD once it has arrived (see above for restrictions).
Courses
Booking courses should be done by phone, online, email or in person. We cannot reserve places on a course, courses can not be booked without paying the full fee.
Cancellations. Courses need a minimum number of learners to run and will be cancelled by us if too few bookings are made. We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses, change course location and substitute tutors.
We aim to give at least one weeks notice if a course is to be cancelled.
If we cancel a course you have the option of transferring to another course, if available, or have a full refund which we will return as soon as possible.
We will not be liable for any losses arising as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of courses other than the course cost.
You may cancel your place one month prior to the course start date and be entitled to a full refund less an administrative charge of £30
If you cancel your place within one month you will not be entitled to a refund unless a replacement student can be found for your place. If a replacement student is found prior to the course start date, you will be entitled to a full refund less an administrative charge of £30.
Transfers. You can transfer to another course up to one month prior to the course start
There is a £15 charge for each transfer
You may transfer your place to another suitable student up to one week before the course start date. This must be done in writing.
Concessions are available for those receiving Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance, pensioners and full-time students. Proof will be required either at the time of booking if in person or on the first day.
To be eligible for concessions you must be:
Unemployed and receiving jobseekers allowance, or a similar allowance for unemployed people, or
Undertaking an apprenticeship, or
Recieving pension credit, or
An unwaged dependant of someone in the above categories, or
A full-student.
You must provide evidence that you are currently receiving one of these benefits. Examples of evidence include your payment book, giro or a letter from Jobcentreplus stating the amount of benefit you are receiving.
