Teacher CPD

We have a lot of experience running Teacher CPD training and our focus is on helping teachers use the moving image in school. The session will be developed around your needs through a pre-visit, which will include a technology audit. Let us help you discover the power and relevance of film in the classroom and how young people can be inspired and excited by this medium that can be used across the curriculum and age range. We will use your equipment or we can provide our own. Schools can also hire our editing laptops and access technical support. Our most popular subject areas are:

• Animagine  – How to develop children’s media literacy and use this to compliment their school literacy. Based on our DVD produced with the BFI (included for free). This session includes practical help making animation in class.

• Filmmaking across the curriculum – Help to incorporate film in a wide variety of subject area for example; how to use film to develop poetry, using film to inspire science, creating a promotional dvd. Also included are what equipment to buy, how to edit and practical solutions to classroom issues
