At The Film & Video Workshop we are aware that as a learner you may, on occasion, require extra support with information, advice and guidance as part of your learning process. In providing this service we hope to be able to enhance your learning experience. We intend to assist individuals in making well-informed and beneficial decisions regarding their chosen learning pathways.

Our in-house service includes:

• One to one advice regarding further study and progression within the Film & Video Workshop and our partner organisations
• Specialist one to one advice regarding external progression, training routes and employment within the film industry
• Signposting to other learning centres and courses where appropriate
• On longer courses: personal tutorials, individual learning plans, evaluation and feedback sessions with industry professionals
• A diverse range of information including websites, booklists, and useful contacts with reference to the film industry is available in the Media Studio
• Notice board for publicising industry events and other courses
• A Learner Pack available in the Media Studio and from Reception on request containing our policies, procedures and information regarding your rights as a learner at the Film & Video Workshop
• Information regarding other local learning centres, courses and further education through the provision of prospectuses and course guides
